In emergency departments, victims of human trafficking often go unnoticed. This case study explores

how our ED service line developed an innovative process using nursing informatics to identify potential

trafficking victims. By integrating red flag indicators into electronic health records and enhancing staff

training, we empowered nurses to recognize and respond to at-risk patients. Learn how nurses lead

change by leveraging their existing hospital resources. Join us as we discuss how data-driven insights and

frontline nursing expertise can make a life-saving difference.  All are invited to participate in this event sponsored by Baptist Health and WCH.
